First off, Merry Christmas to anyone reading this, hope you've all had good ones and got things you actually wanted (as I did).

I'm feeling somewhat creative today, to the point of considering taking the time to doodle out some of the original costume ideas I have in my head. Lots of vaguely fantasy-historical-steamy ideas rolling around in this messy little brain of mine. I'm also having an Arthurian legends kick again right now, based on some of the books I got for Christmas (oh weird history and British mythology, how I love thee), which may explain some of the weirder ideas. And some of the gifts from my sister (a set of palm sized decorative scrolls and a pretty leaf pendant).

Manda, dear? Don't suppose you've got any organic/celtic looking designs in your henna books have you? I'm thinking tattoos are going to play a major part in the appearance of one of the characters.

... I swear it's getting to the point where I'm even considering suggesting original characters for the costumes we wear at Minami Con. Though there would probably be a lot more work required in that, deciding on a theme, creating outfits from scratch, etc. Something I'd find fun-but-frustrating, but I'm not sure about anything else. Ah well, I might mention it anyway and see how it goes down.
