Gosh, has it really been almost a year since I posted anything here? Oops, I think it's about time I got the depressing post off the front of my journal, don't you think?

I know it's not over yet, but 2009 has been a pretty busy year for me, especially over the last couple of months. Work's been hectic, more to do and less people to do it, but the biggest change has been college. Got the results of my first two assignments back recently, a merit for poetry and a pass for one of my history essays (which would have been a merit, but I was too conscious of the word count as I got nearer the end and didn't elaborate enough, according to the tutor). Doesn't really sound like I've done much, but it's kept me busy.

Next year, I expect, will be busier still. There will be college and work (and proper university at the end of the year, should all go well), but there will also (probably) be Minami Con too. A friend of mine registered me for it, and, while we didn't get places right away apparently the first 50 people on the waiting list (which we're in) usually end up going anyway. I swear I knew nothing about it until he told me he'd registered me. So I shall have to start thinking about and working on a costume, so possibly there will be things to post on here more often.

I'm also planning a trip to New Orleans for after college but before uni, if I can find someone willing to go with me (I've got a sort-of-maybe-yes from someone, but nothing definite).

So that is my life at the moment and in the future.
